1. Title

文稿标题需简要概括研究主题，长度不宜过长。期刊明确要求：

“The title will concisely summarize the main topic of the study, being not overly long (no more than 18 words).” 即文稿标题不得超过18个英文单词。

2. Running Title

需提供短标题，长度同样有明确限制：

“A short running title of no more than 6 words should be provided.” Running Title 不超过6个英文单词，可使用常见缩写。

3. Core Tip

4. 作者设置

在作者署名方面，期刊明确规定：

在投稿第一步Manuscript General Information中，系统提供填写First Author’s Date of Birth的选项，对应说明为：

“Preferential Article Processing Charge. If an unsolicited manuscript has a first author who is a young scholar under 45 years-old, the preferential Article Processing Charge will be charged. If the first author is a young scholar under 45 years-old, please fill in his/her date of birth”

若第一作者年龄在45岁以下，填写出生日期可享受10%的版面费减免。需要注意的是，该信息仅在初次投稿阶段可填写，修回阶段无法补填。

2. 24小时投稿时限

完成第一步信息填写后，点击Save and Continue，系统会提示：

“A manuscript No. has been created, you should complete the submission within 24 hours.Otherwise, this submission will be locked, and you will not be able to continue submitting the manuscript.”

点击Confirm后系统即开始计时，24小时内未完成投稿，稿件将被锁定，无法继续提交，因此需尽快完成后续投稿步骤。

3. 初次投稿文件上传要求

百世登期刊要求初次投稿时一次性上传完整文稿：

“The full manuscript, including main text, table(s), and figure(s) should be uploaded at one time.Please embed the main text, table(s), and figure(s) in a single manuscript file (Word or PDF) and remove all editing tracks and notes.” 即正文、表格和图片需整合在同一个Word或PDF文件中，图表不单独上传，通常放置在文稿末尾，同时需删除所有修订痕迹和批注。

4. 必需的证明文件

投稿系统中Non-Native Speakers of English Editing Certificate（语言润色证明）为必传项。

涉及人体研究的文稿，还需上传Institutional Review Board Approval Form（伦理审批文件）及Signed Informed Consent Form（知情同意书）；

INTRODUCTION，CASE PRESENTATION（依次包括主诉、现病史、既往史、个人及家族史、入院体格检查、实验室检查及影像学检查），FINAL DIAGNOSIS，TREATMENT，OUTCOME AND FOLLOW UP，DISCUSSION，CONCLUSION。

3. 原始图片文件

修回阶段需提供可编辑的原始图片文件，期刊要求：

“Authors should provide the original figure documents. Please prepare and arrange the figures using PowerPoint to ensure that all graphs and/or design components (such as arrows) and/or text portions can be reprocessed by the journal’s editorial staff, and finally upload it to the file destination of Image File.” 即所有图片需以PPT格式整理后上传至Image File。

4. Audio Core Tip

为吸引读者阅读全文，期刊还要求：

“We request that the first author make an audio file describing the final core tip.” 即由第一作者录制最终Core Tip的音频文件。

5. 其他修回必需材料

若研究涉及统计学分析，需提供Biostatistics Review Certificate（统计学审查证明）；

通讯作者需完成Conflict-of-Interest Disclosure Form（利益冲突声明表）；
