Dr. Peng is a Professor of Pathology at UT Southwestern Medical Center (UTSW). She earned her MD and PhD degrees from Beijing Medical University. She completed her combined anatomic and clinical pathology residency training at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), followed by two ACGME-accredited fellowships: one in breast and gynecologic pathology at UPMC, and another in cytopathology at BIDMC/Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Peng has authored or co-authored more than 100 peer-reviewed publications. She served as the editor of the textbook Practical Breast Pathology (Springer, 2019), as well as special issues on breast pathology for Seminars in Diagnostic Pathology (Elsevier, 2022) and Human Pathology (Elsevier, 2025). She has contributed multiple book chapters to breast pathology textbooks. She serves on the editorial boards of several journals, including Cancers and Human Pathology. Dr. Peng has delivered numerous invited presentations on breast cancer at both national and international conferences, and she is a past president of the North Texas Society of Pathologists.

Huina Zhang, MD, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Pathology and Director of Gynecologic Pathology in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Rochester Medical Center, with subspecialty expertise in breast and gynecologic pathology. She earned her MD and PhD degrees in China, completed residency training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Loma Linda University Medical Center, and subsequently completed a clinical instructorship in breast and gynecologic pathology at Magee-Womens Hospital, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

Dr. Zhang is actively involved in national and international pathology organizations. Since 2023, she has served as faculty for the College of American Pathologists (CAP) Multidisciplinary Breast Pathology Program and, since 2024, as a member of the Pathologist Advisory Group for the CAP Multidisciplinary Breast Pathology Education Program.
