Article Processing Charges
All journals published by Xia & He Publishing are open access. Open Access provides anyone in the world free and immediate online access to the scholarly literature to read, download, distribute, and reuse. To enable us to maintain a sustainable open access platform and thus serve as a conduit for communication among scholarly communities, authors pay an article processing charge (APC) for manuscripts that have undergone peer review and been accepted for publication. The APC is payable to Xia & He Publishing by the author(s) or research sponsor(s).

◎ An APC is applied to all article types accepted by XHP journals, except for editorial types. For descriptions of specific article types, please refer to the article-type page of each journal.
◎ Editorial types, including Editorials, Letters to the Editor, Commentaries, Corrections, Opinions, and Retractions, are published free of charge.
◎ For authors from low-income countries or lower-middle-income countries, as classified by the World Bank, a discount of the APC can be granted. Please send the request to [email protected].
Refund Policy
Once the manuscript is accepted, the APC is due, and the author is responsible for paying the amount. The APC is non-refundable.
In cases of withdrawal before publication and retraction after publication, the APC will not be refunded. Additionally, if an article requires retraction, the author(s) will be required to pay a retraction fee to cover the associated costs.
