Tongji Medical College Overseas Alumni Association (TJMCOAA), a U.S. Federal-registered and non-profit organization, has been dedicated to strengthening the professional liaison among our members, as well as the relationship between our members and Alma Mater. The annual collection of its members’ publications, which was initiated by Drs. Guohua Li, Steven (Sijiu) Shen, Huiyun Xiang, Marilyn (Mengrong) Li, Henry (Henyi) Liu in 2007, has been an ongoing project organized by the TJMCOAA so far and kindly sponsored by Medjaden Bioscience Limited, and Xia & He Publishing Inc. since 2013. We are so proud that all the collections are well received and appreciated by our Alma Mater, Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology.

Here, we are pleased to present the selected scholarly work published by our fellow alumni around the world from January 2014 to July 2015. The 2015 edition is composed of 48 articles authored by 20 alumni. Not only do the publications exemplify the academic achievements of our overseas alumni, but also they provide a snapshot of the international research trends in various biomedical fields.

As requested by Dr. Yinghan Chen, the previous director of the Office for Tongji Medical College Overseas Alumni, we have added a Chinese title and preface in this edition, and will keep the information in the future editions.

We hope that this collection of publications will serve as an intellectual bridge between our fellow overseas alumni and Tongji faculties and students. Please feel free to contact us if you have any comments and suggestions.
