We are pleased to announce that on February 17, 2026, Xia & He Publishing Inc. received notification from Clarivate Analytics that its journal, Journal of Clinical and Translational Pathology (JCTP), has been officially accepted for inclusion in the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) database. All articles published since Volume 4, Issue 1, 2024, will be indexed and accessible via the Web of Science platform. The journal is expected to receive its first Journal Impact Factor in 2027.

JCTP was launched in December 2021 and is the official journal of the Chinese American Pathologists Association (CAPA). It is jointly published by CAPA and Xia & He Publishing Inc. The founding Editors-in-Chief are Professor Guoping Cai from the Department of Pathology at Yale University School of Medicine, USA, and Professor Huanyou Wang from the Department of Pathology at the University of California, San Diego, USA. With the support of an international academic network and editorial board, JCTP is dedicated to publishing high-quality research in the fields of clinical and anatomical pathology, encompassing fundamental scientific investigations into disease pathogenesis, as well as innovative applications of pathological diagnostic techniques and methodologies. This inclusion in the ESCI represents another significant milestone for the journal, following its acceptance into Scopus and COPE in 2025, and signifies further recognition of JCTP's academic quality, publishing standards, and international influence.

This achievement reflects the academic leadership of our Editors-in-Chief, the selfless contributions of our Editorial Board Members (including Young Editorial Board Members), the rigorous evaluations by our peer reviewers, and the trust and support of our authors and readers.
