Abstract
Metabolisc-associated fatty liver disease (MAFLD) is a multi-system disease in which cardiovascular disease plays
an important role and is considered the main cause of death. Notably, cardiovascular disease events in young
patients with MAFLD have attracted extensive attention. This article reviews the research progress on the
correlation between MAFLD and cardiovascular disease
